Toronto FC has come a long way in the past 5 years. Going from a team that lost their first nine games in 2012 to winning the 2017 MLS Cup, Supporter's Shield and Canadian Championship (effectively making the domestic treble) the club has come a very long way. It's a night I've been personally waiting for since I started following the club in 2011 and started shooting in 2014. It's been a wild roller coaster but the struggles of past seasons made the MLS Cup win that much sweeter. Congratulations to everyone involved whether you're part of the team, staff, or a supporter! This was definitely one of the more nerve wracking matches we've had at BMO Field this year but the reds pulled through and came up with the win. Despite Jozy Altidore's ankle injury he pressed on to score the series winning goal to take Toronto FC to the 2017 Major League Soccer Cup final which will be played at home. The support was literally on fire for the full 90 minutes and before and after the match. Here's to December 9th! #SaveTheCrew

With a 1-0 loss in the second leg Toronto FC were able to advance on away goals as the aggregate would end up 2-2. It was a wet and wild night at BMO Field as tempers flared due to the officiating of first official Chris Penso. Looking forward to the next match in a few weeks time. I decided to play around with some colour grading this time around. Here is the match in photos:

I've always said that league imposed rivalries such as the Trillium Cup are a bit pointless especially since the arrival of Montreal into Major League Soccer. That being said, the cup definitely added to the atmosphere and gave certain players a little bit extra to play for which manifested in a 5-0 win over the Columbus Crew and another amazing atmosphere. I think we have some serious Supporter's Shield contenders in Toronto. Here are my favourite image that I took from last night's match in no particular order:
