This is Berlin's Olympic Stadium - which once hosted the 1936 Olympic Games while Hitler was in power. It's by far the most interesting/historic stadium I've ever been too.

A few months ago, my hard drive came crashing to the ground - needless to say it is now history. Although it has set me back in many ways; I feel like I have a fresh start. A new start without any preconceptions that I've built for myself in what a photograph should or shouldn't have. It's made me re-evaluate the entire photography game, which I think is ultimately a good thing. For example, this photo, although two years old, never got posted because of the truck to the left. Thanks to a friend I was able to recover some smaller res .jpgs which I had given to him just after the trip.  This is where I rediscovered this photo. Thanks to another friend, I now have images from my trips to Europe in 2007/2009 as well.

The View Off My Balcony

The View Off My Balcony, April 2010
_________

Taken earlier today from over 80 images, a bit excessive I know but I'm practicing Photoshop skills. The distortion is pretty nasty along the bottom edge but I decided to keep because it really gives you an idea of the surroundings. I will probably follow this up with a night version.

Crossing the Street

________

This gentleman was crossing the street when I snapped his picture out of the car and clearly we made eye contact which can feel weird at times. He's carrying Esso's -45C Antifreeze in case you're wondering. I should also start putting forth more effort into the titles of these photos.

Streaks of Light Series

__________

I decided to put on the camera on the dash and take pictures because.. well - I don't know why but I just did. Anyway, I ended up getting a pretty decent series of images. It's getting warmer now and I'm getting less and less lazy so I will be posting more relevant stuff. I am also planning to do some more live blogging because that got quite a bit of attention. If you have any ideas, once again, don't hesitate to give me a shout.
