BMW 328i in Grayscale

_________

We hang out at the top of this dead end street near Eglinton (the street between the vehicle/building) to play soccer and relax after work. Neven was pulling up while I was fiddling with some new gear so I snapped a bunch of him - one of which I thought was blog worthy.

Temporary Workspace

Dennis Marciniak's temporary workspace.

_________

This is where I have been working out of the past few days. I felt really weird in this space at first but now I'm really comfortable - it's very random. I have a PC and juice maker on the left, with a bird swooping down at me. I always thought that was funny.

The Theodore 1922 Dog

The dog that lounges out at theodore 1922 in toronto.

__________

I love shooting stores when there's something atypical going on. Chole is the dog at Theodore 1922 just lounges out and is one of the most docile animals I've ever met. Her picture gets taken almost everyday and kids will wander into the store just to see the dog.

Portrait in HTML

Self portrait as HTML by Dennis Marciniak

Looking through old files on my computer for inspiration I came across this project that never was completed. I'm working on it now - this is the first of the "reinterpreted" portraits.

The image was converted from a .tif to a HTML file - then to a .jpeg file. This is the result.

Planet of Sound

Planet of Sound in Toronto on Queen East, shot by Dennis Marciniak

__________

This is a new audio store that's opened on Queen East last week. I was sent there to take photos and was absolutely blown away by the amount of vinyl that is still around. Being the electronic music snob that my friends make me out to be - I told him to "Give Tronce a Chonce". I'm sure a few people know what I'm talking about.

Working on a new "In the Latenight Mix" with Nevtron - should be out sometime this weekend.

Euphoric Clouds and Light Rays (Desktop Wallpaper)

A widescreen desktop wallpaper for the iMac 1900x1080

________

I've always wanted to get a shot of this just never knew what conditions in the sky created it. I finally saw it happen before my eyes while talking on the phone - I quickly hung up, ran to my balcony and shot a few frames.

This works as a widescreen wallpaper at 1920 x 1080 pixels and is made for iMacs, but will fit most widescreen displays. Click on the image to obtain the full resolution file. Then right click and hit "set as desktop wallpaper"... a monkey could do it.
